This is a great show in lower mid-west Michigan.
This year, to help pay for my Honeymoon this fall, I plan on setting up an xs650 booth at the Swap Meet area. Anything that doesn't sell will either be posted here, then on eBay.
I plan on selling some of my extra sock of xs650 parts, including break lines and cables, frames, lighting, electronics, a set of 72 Carbs, exhaust headers, 72 front wheel, brake parts, ignition parts, Plus two Bikes!

Just loaded last night. A 1982 Yamaha Virago 920 (no title, parts bike) and a Very Nice 1980 xs650 Special.
Here's my write up on the Special;
1980 Yamaha xs650 Special, approximately 21,000 miles. $1600
This has been a great bike, runs great, smooth and straight at any speed. I have put a lot of hard work in money into this bike over the past few years. Just short of a full frame off restore. I really love this bike and it will be hard to part with her, but I’m getting married in the fall and I need honeymoon money. Plus I already have 3 other Yamaha xs650s.
Suspension:
New Dunlop D404 Tires, Professionally installed and balanced. These are the tires that are on most Harley’s
New rear wheel bearings.
Front and rear bearings repacked with grease
Bronze Swing arm bushings
New Fork seals and fork oil
Tapered head bearings
Brakes:
New front brake pads
Front and back brake fluid changed
Clutch:
New Fibers
New Springs
New Needle Bearing with Thrust Washer
New one piece push rod
New Clutch seal
New Clutch pushrod shaft Bushing
Clutch Push Screw & Housing Assembly Kit AKA Worm Gear
Engine and Drive:
New X-Ring Gold Drive Chain
New sprockets (Stock 34T Rear, 17T Front
New Emgo Slash Cut mufflers (Nice deep sound)
Carburetor rebuilt and jetted for exhaust (may need to go one more up on the mains for better High RPM performance, sorry I can’t remember what’s in there now)
New XSJohn’s adjustable Carburetor needles (no longer available, highly sought after upgrade)
New Fuel petcock
Cam Chain and valves adjusted.
Can’t remember the exact numbers, but it has the engine has great compression.
Electronics:
New Wire harness with fuse box
Stock Ignition system working great
Stock charging system working great
All lights and lenses in great working shape.
Body and trip:
Tank is clean and dent free.
Paint is good, but not great, purple now (Stock it was black)
The side covers don’t have the emblems on them right now, but I do have them.
New Cables (Clutch and Throttle)
New seat cover
All Aluminum (fork legs, engine covers) has been polished.
Chrome is overall pretty good.
Overall this is a very clean, rust free bike.
