Glueing leather to metal

I am building a seat and was going to rivet 2 pieces of leather to the pan one on top and one on bottom and then sew the seam together. Whats the best glue to bond leather to metal since gravity will be against the bottom? Also should I glue the top to the foam?

I used 3m spray glue on a seat I attempted to make .. the glue held great .. my leather working skills did not

I've had great success with plain contact cement, both with metal to leather and leather to foam. Not a bad idea to use an aggressive etching primer on the clean bare metal first.
