we have a bloke up here with only 1 arm and 1 leg(opposite sides) from 2 different accidents over 30 yrs ago who gets around on harley trikes and has never let any thing stop him.he took his quad bike out bush last sat and went missing for 4 days.the mountains around his town are extreamly rough and full of old mine shafts, anyway after a massive search they found him alive and well.he had rolled the quad down into a steep gully but luckerly had some water with him so butch just sat under a tree and waited.aside from a sore neck and dehydration was ok (1 night in hospital for a check up) but hes not out of the woods yet as lou his missus reckons once he fully recovered shes going to kill him
 
well im glad to hear he made it okay.its a lesson we all could learn from.when goin into the wilderness on a quad or bike. a gallon of water and a few power bars and some matches, really aint all that heavy.
 
That's one tough dude! He should give life lessons to wimps.
 
your not wrong,he was only 5ks (2miles?) from home and town (irvinebank qld) thats how rough the country is.the gully was just to steep for him to climb out of. besides friends and people in town they had 100 other people and a chopper looking for a couple of days and it still took that long to find him
