I'm redoing the wiring on my 79 after doing the perm-mag conversion and I've grounded my capacitor to the frame but what about all the other stuff like the lights, horn, etc. After looking at various wiring diagrams I've noticed two different kinds of grounds, "ground" and "frame-ground" and that got me confused. Do I just frame-ground everything? Can I ground a wire to the frame and connect all of these lights and the horn to that same wire? Will that work? Thanks!

The "two different kinds of grounds" is probably just an artifact of how schematics are drawn up.

You can connect the battery negative terminal straight to the frame, and then connect all the other grounds either to the frame, or to some wire that eventually goes to the frame, whichever is more convenient and neater.
