Just started riding the XS again and the amount of vibration in the bars is quite noticeable compared to the Water Buffalo. Thinking I’ll try adding weight to the bars. Bar end weights aren’t an option as I am running bar end mirrors. Anyone have experience with this product?

Or is it just “snake oil”.

I seem to recall discussions of it here in the past with good results…

*just as likely I’m imagining all this

I tried searching but couldn’t find anything specifically about the barsnake product. I know there’s a lot of other diy options like lead shot but I thought this may be quick and easy although a bit costlier n

I put more cushioned grips on my bike and reinforced the rubber bar mounts. That made a bit of a difference. For a while before that I had grafted some old bar end weights from my Honda onto my bars. That didn't make much of a difference.
I haven't tried these grip puppies but was thinking about it.

On my CB750C there is a high pitched vibration at the bars. Foam grips were not an option for me because of the extra diameter and the size of my hands, clutch pull, and I can destroy those things just moving the bikes around the garage. Gel filled grips were the answer, good size, less vibration, long lasting, and a much better clutch pull than the oversized foam grips.

Search of the word barsnake seemed to bring up a few threads with comments about it working better than sand and lead shot.

These help. Medium dense foam.
