my opinion sprocket is way better! stays on track with no issues skateboard wheel if your chain gets to either side just sounds scary. I really dont want to get whipped by a chain at 50mph. totally my opinon man. Im sure im going to hear about this from the skateboard people
I have the weld on with the skate wheel because I'm running a 520 chain , and I only saw 530's on there web site. As long as the chain is tightened before tensioning, it won't flop side to side. There is a lot of machinery using similar setups. Probly running at a lot higher speeds.
