Has any one in Auz lost their Metal Side-cover

Hi xs650ers,
I'm not sure if this is the right place...
I have found a metal left side cover with custom writing, metallic silver on black 'Special II 650' at Hornsby near Galston Gorge and I would like to get it back to the owner.
Hoping one of you guys knows who owns this bike.

I have attached a photo of what I'm hoping is the opposite cover. Lost mine around the same time period. Just came across your text strangly enough in my twitter feed. Live in H Heights and travel the Gorge daily.
