Has anyone removed the mounts from the valve cover?

I was wondering if anyone has done or seen the motor mounts machined off from the top of the valve covers. Anyone have pics??? I want to do mine and wanted to see if anyone had knowledge of this.

Yeah, I machined them off and ran with no top mounts
looks a lot cleaner in my opinion

Doc I also think it does look better, but Yamaha engineers had them on there for a reason. Our machines do shake. The Brits had the same problem with their 360 degree engines and they used a head steady on the front of their bikes.(BSA) Like we say it is your bike and you should make it your own by using your ideas .
