Have developed a light miss or hesitation?

[XS650D]

I have noticed that the motor will hesitate or miss lightly around 3 or 4000 rpm when throttling
hard from low rpm ,once over 5 grand no issues,any ideas.I checked the timing and its good.
Fuel and flow good.Could the points need replaced.I checked the gap and it in range.I also checked plugs
and wires to coils,they appear tight.Wires are new this season.ps:this is my last season with points,pain in the butt!
