Well folks...I have enjoyed restoring and riding my 77' Yamaha XS-650D, but I am selling due to some bills that have come up. Currently, the bike is 99% restored, just needs a high beam/ low beam switch replaced. I have replaced the following: new front and rear Dunlop tires, battery, front brakes, pulled both carbs and rebuilt, new tune up (points, plugs, wires)new gas lines and gas filters. Bike runs great, but needs new paint job on gas tank and side covers ect...cosmetics to bring back to it's original glory. Bike is 100% original...no add on's ect. I have put about 1,000 miles on it since I got it in running condition, and what a pleasure to ride. Getting about 38 miles per gallon, however, I weigh close to 300 lbs.
