Wanted - Headlight Grille or Stone Guard

Before I search around online, I thought I'd post a want ad here. I'm looking for a grille or mesh stone guard for a standard 7 inch headlight. Are there any laying around you'd like to get rid of? Shipping would be to 62285. PM me.

I could be wrong, but I don't think grilles are or were ever made for standard 7" lights. I have a collection or grilles, but they are all for 5" (or 5-1/4" or 5-3/4" depending on how you measure) lights. For 7" I think you have to get one of the complete shell with finned grill aftermarket assemblies.

I was curious so I checked. My son's CJ5 headlight guards look like they would work with some mods. Probably get those all day long on eBay.

check out the light guards for vintage british cars and beetles. I bought a set off e-bay for cheap and installed in on my vintage goldwing light.

wannabridin, I just realized that we both belong to both forums. I'd like to have a grille for both my XS and my '76 GL.

I've got one that came off of my norton, not mounting clips though, just the cage

Nice!! I have 3 GL's and none run, haha! let me check if i still have an extra grille and clips. dunno where it is, so no promises on how quickly i can get to it.
