Heat Wave - Motorcyclist Got A Surprise

Ive done several desert runs in heat way into the triple digits, with full leathers on.
You just need to drink a lot, and drive fast

I was out riding last Saturday, we put 225 miles on the bikes in 92 degree heat. I was wearing a mesh Jacket and gloves. It was too hot for comfort, I can't imagine triple digit temps.

Finally cooled off enough to leave the 240sx in the driveway and ride to work. Only 90, tomorrow it will be 85. I might need a sweater. Where are the global warming doubters now?

Here in Bakersfield we ride daily in 100 plus weather and always with protective clothing, mesh jacket and riding pants. Tony C

wow, at 70 mph, his jump would have lasted about 1.5 seconds. Bet that feels like 5 minutes hitting it by suprise.

Drove to san luis obispo in full leathers, 115 degrees. My tires were literally coming apart.

Riding an air-cooled kawi ninja 600 that blew hot air on my right boot tip.

The only way to stay cool was to go over 100. Honest, officer.

Ninjas 600 are not air cooled. But I had a CBR 929 (it also is not air cooled) and it got so hot in 2005 i was sitting in traffic with shorts on and by te time I got to work it had cinged the hair on my legs.
