Projects should be exciting, right? So, instead of getting an XS with minor work needed, this one needs to be entirely reassembled. 
I am not quite sure why the previous owner took it apart to this extent, but most likely he had big plans that got put on hold... It happens to the best of us!
A quick inventory and it looks like all or most of it is there. He wanted to keep his old personalized tag- 78XS-IVE. We decided that the tag should go on the wall with the race souvenirs and Kenny Wayne Shepard gee-tar.
The goal is to have it running right, polished and painted by July, since most projects die from lack of interest after six months. Seems pretty straightforward, but it's hard to know what we might run into along the way. I'm sure we'll be looking to you all for help and guidance along the way. There are a couple projects ahead of this, but I'll be checking in now and again with updates.
