Hello every one. I'm Glenn from Holmfirth West Yorkshire England. A couple of months ago I bought a 1979 XS650 special US import. Not complete but the engine runs. The bits missing are what I'd chuck any way. As you've guessed it's destined to be a Custom Bobber type of thing
I've joined to get tech info etc, inspiration and general banter. I work in my own car body shop garage business, and have been around bike all my life. I currently run a !998 Honda Valkyrie and a MZ TS125 which I bought for my Girlfriend to learn to ride on
First job on the XS is sort out the wiring to find out what's working or not Then do a running dry build. I'll be posting in the relevant forum sections

Thank you Guys. I'm looking forward to doing it. I have the over all plan in my head of the finished bike. I've had a quick look around the site and found some wiring diagrams which will come in useful.....
