Help!!! Charging system is pissing me off!!!

Yep, plenty of 30 year old bikes run the std charge system, plenty otherwise.
Also plenty running stock points after 30 years with no drama, also plenty of stock TCI bikes running happily along. Nothing wrong with anything on a stock XS, if it's kept in good nick it'll be just fine. As Pete pointed out earlier, anything left to fend for itself for 30 years is going to need some attention......
