Just a quick one, just finished my build which I’ve put a photo of below.

top end refurb, new gaskets new valve seals, pistons and rings the works really: honed the cylinders and watched a fair few videos from all the posts on here.
Got a little bit of an oily plug on the left cylinder… a friend riding said I had a couple of little puffs of smoke left exhaust. Riding fine… could this just be the rings bedding in? Compression was at 160 on both sides.

What do you reckon?

I like it
The upper pipe is it not a bit high hitting the pants ?
The smoke ..How long since the rebuild ..?? since the Compression is high I believe it is the Valve stem seal
Can settle if low mileage now

Hitting the pants? It’s not too bad when you sit on it. Legs are away from the pipe. It’s a interesting position.
Had new valve stem seals in place and it’s done 30 miles since rebuild….

30 miles is early days ..I would assume it will get better.
