I need to know if I can use a Honda coil # FW82 TRI with my Pamco ignition. I believe it is a 3 ohm type but I'm just not sure and don't want to harm the Pamco.

Yes, it will work fine with a Pamco if you happen to have one of those coils on hand. But if you're looking to buy one, many are using another Honda coil, the MP08. It's smaller than stock so should be easier to mount.
