How do you install Erratic Starter Engagement?

I have the "Erratic Starter Engagement" from MikesXS and don't exactly know what to do with it. There is a gear thing with a metal loop and there is a spring. Don't know where it goes or how to put it in. Any help would be much appreciated!

hi there,s great info on starter set up and ,,,bendix spring set up and position,,,, all from our site and also ,,i think 650 central,,,, even with the new 4th gear and bendix spring clamp the new bendix in a vice and clamp it together ,squash it togetheron the leg,,,,it dose make a diference...fo sure..and the new position is easy to see if you read about it on the site ,,, regards oldbiker

I don't think you have to install Erratic Starter Engagement, it comes stock with the bike.......

Old biker I'm not sure I understood anything you just said... Gary I have a new starter engagement from MikesXS. I figure it wouldn't hurt to replace the old one. Just don't know how.
