Note the question mark. I bought a Rifle Superbike Fairing last summer and love it. Sadly, because of a stupid move on my part the windshield now has 2 big scratches near the top. It's made of Polycarbonate, I think. Does anyone know of a way to fill and polish deep scratches in clear polycarbonate?

Years ago, my Daddy could fill and remove scratches from clear plexiglass using some sort of liquid filler that stunk like crazy but was easy to do. Is there something like that for polycarbonate? Is it safe to use outdoors?

There are companies out there who will repair clear polycarbonate-- they quoted me $50.oo plus shipping-- the exact same price that Rifle charges for a replacement windshield. Used vs. new for the same price-- I think we all know how that will go.

Thanks for any advice. -Billy
