For Sale - I Want to buy: Front rim, 650 tank emblems, etc.

The bike is a 1979 650 standard, not special

Please if you have any parts you can sell me it would help me a lot, I need the following:
-A matching front aluminum rim, not a chrome one
-Square gas tank emblems, is there a cheaper option? These seem hard to find. I am open to anything that will fit.
-Tail light, my lens is busted, the metal is bent but usable.
-Some mufflers, mine are very rusted out.

IMHO go to mikes buy a 2.15 x 19 rim and stainless spokes. Any late model 78 up XS650 gas tank emblems will fit your tank.

Thanks gary. I am considering it getting wider rims, In anodozed black. Wasn't planning on deviating too much from stock.

Rear 2.5 and front 2.15 Or should I go with 2.5 front and rear? Will 2.5 fit under my front fender ?

I got 3.5x18 stuffed on both ends of madness but I'm on the lunatic fringe..

2.15x19 front
2.5x 18 rear is good.

I'm sure Gary would just love to have that bike ridden to a rally--if somebody else would ride it! But how the hell would you ride that thing without getting your right foot and ankle cooked? By keeping your foot well away from the peg and brake pedal I'd guess, which just offhand doesn't sound very safe or comfortable.
