Any ideas for filling that massive hole in the back of the stock headlight. Gauges, switches, etc. Lets see/hear what you've done.
Thanks

Fibre glass from the inside across the hole just to make a firm backing then bog it, sand it, paint it.

I use that hole to mount a low-profile Emgo repop of an early Honda key switch. Used to use an Emgo repop of the early Harley screw post B-I-L switch, which failed after 14 years of use. The only switches available in that pattern now are the Chinese trash sold in Harley shops under the Custom Chrome label and the same POS sold under the Drag Specialties mark. I tried one of each. At around 6200 rpm the contacts on both floated, causing ignition to break up.

I used one of the holes for a voltmeter.

To be honest I don't remember, but I don't think it was alot. The gauge takes about a
2" hole. This mod may not work for a stock light shell with all the wires inside, mine is empty except for the bulb and gauge. All my wiring is under the tank.
