Was riding this weekend and engine cutout. Spit sputtered and died. Turned switch to the right for lights only and back to on. Engine started running again. This happened many times over the next 8 miles till I finally got home. Does this sound like a bad switch? Have pamco ignition. And still need to sync carbs.

yep. seems to point that way. if not, check for loose connection of the 4 wire plug that is the pigtail for the ign switch. you can hot wire it at the out side of the plug. jumper the red/white to the brown. everything should work. ride it. if no problems, re attach the ign switch, if it happens again, its the switch. my money is on the switch.

My bike has less than 500 miles on the rebuild. The new switch came from Mikes. I have had the switch for 2 years. Thanks for the reply and good ideas. I can always rely on everyone at the forum. Ordered new switch. Try again.
