Install a neutral light?

I have a 79 special II . There is not a neutral light can I install one? Is there a switch built into the clutch?

Look up "neutral switch." It;s on the top rear of the case near the cam chain adjuster. It goes to ground when the bike is in neutral, no connection otherwise.
