What do you guys do with the neutral light wire
The neutral light quit working and I knew it had to be because the wire came loose I think I just had it wrapped around the spring on the switch
I see there is a hole on the shaft on the switch and I tried to rig up a connector to go around the shaft but then the boot wouldn't go on

Raise the spring and washer, slip it through the hole and let the spring hold tension on it. Or push it down, can’t remember which way without looking at it.

Push the spring down through
Ought to be interesting for me to get the wire through the hole
It used to have a fitting like i tried it just sat flat ?

I was hoping that there was a screw but
I'll rig something going through the hole might be a little trouble for old kinda shakey

I think you tin the end of the wire with solder, then stick it through the hole.
