Did some searching but didn't find the info I was looking for. Can a rear mag be adapted to run on the front? 1980 XS650 special. I'm building a trike with some of my spare stuff from my chopper build.

Have you taken any measurements? Pretty sure it's gonna be too wide for the stock forks.

I'll have to doublecheck. I have turnrd down my front fork sliders to remove brake / fender mounts. I don't know if it will make a difference or not.

Just so ya know i'm running a front alloy on the rear of my tracker and it needed spacers to the tune of a coupla inches to fit so I doubt that a rear will fit on the front. tape measure is your friend.

check out members bikes on aussie club site Dave Raynor runs a rear mag on front of his bike,pretty sure youll need wider triple clamps good luck
