Now I know this has been beat to death on forums but really not enough good info on the correct way to do one of these swaps. I have done them on other bikes and now have one back in my garage that for the second time went bad that you cannot drive bike. First time bike came in because it crashed and I went over the bike got it all back together and out the door it went. Now I took it back because the wheel shifted on the axle and almost hit the caliper and now has to go out to the west coast to be balanced and trued .
So I was thinking why not just see how others are doing there swap and posting correct pictures of a swap so no one gets hurt doing one of these swaps incorrectly .
Swaps I have done in the past I have use the correct wheel or I had new bearings and axle made up with all new spacers. What I see on this swap was just over sized bushings put on both ends of the lower legs. It has stock axle and spoke wheel IT WORKS but is it the safe way to do it. Both spacers rely on the 10mm bolts to hold the axle as does the 24.74 mm stock axle but its a complete one piece axle.
I have been in contact with bearing company's to see if I can get the proper 24.74mm bearing that will be the replacement for the stock XS 650 wheel. On some form someone said they got it but ALL BALLS said no and they sent me to another company and I am going to send the both axles with stock bearings as they asked. So I would like to hear from others of how they did there's and some pictures. I will post all pictures and contacts when I get this done the correct way. ALL BALLS does make the stem bearings .
Here are some pictures of stock axle GSXR and wheel I am working with and stock wheel with no bearing.
More to come

I'm working on swapping a 2012 zx6 front end on. How I did it is I made a custom steering stem to use the correct tapered bearings for the yamaha frame. And for the wheel I made adapters to use a CB550 front hub with the original kawasaki bearings and spacers while lining up a ducati monster 320mm rotor with an R6 caliper.

Here is the difference of a stock axle and for swap. You have a spacer for each disk to space out for fit to caliber.
