Is it 40 degrees from TDC to full advance?

Short question for the well learned around here - is it 15 degrees from TDC to fire and then 25 degrees from fire to full advance? (40 degrees from TDC to full advance?)

Installing a new tri-spark ignition on my 277 rephrase project and TDC wasn’t marked when the PMA was installed. The ignition is set at full advance when it’s installed so wanted to double check what those degrees to set it at was.

The full advance changed with some models.
Later ones were 40 degrees, have a look at this thread in the tech section.

Nice. Haven't made it to the Boxing Day racing there but looks great. You don't know anyone in NZ with alot of xs650 spares? Just chasing a front brake disc as had one of mine pinched or lost while it was in storage.

No discs or brake calipers that haven't been earmarked for sidecars. You may be better off mounting a disc from another bike unless you are going for a full restore.
