IS THERE A WAY to extend a SPEEDO CABLE?

My front wheel is a 21" from some unidentified Yamaha trials bike. So, it will take a Yamaha speedo cable, push fit, looks like a flat connector (not certain on that, though - need glasses on my head when I can see to find them). Speedo cables are available but I need a long one to reach up the extended forks of my chopper.

Is there a way to extend a stock cable? join two together? Help.

Yeah, I have a speedo cable extension. Like another 10" or something. (I don't use it anymore since I removed my speedo)

Thanks fellers, I have spotted them on eBay and other sites. My wheel looks like ot takes a push fit, whatever they look like.

If you want a cleaner look try making your own cables. Look at Flanders cables he has everything you need and can cut to your specified length.

I dont know if you already know them but if you go to Motion Pro.com they will make you a cable,all they need is how much over stock length do you want.I've used Motion Pro on a few bikes and they do a real nice job.
