Hello,
83 xs650
I am upgrading to PAMCO and PMA. And thought this would be a good time to simplify the wiring. I would like to eliminate everything I don't need.

Should I just remove everything at once or do it step by step.
I plan on keeping battery, headlight, tail light and turn signals, maybe horn.
I would like to replace the key and kill switch with one hidden kill switch or just the key. Get rid of sidestand safety, clutch safety, neutral light, hi lo indicator light, lighted spedo and tach, but keep the tach.

Just went through all of this a few weeks ago. I used the examples below and kind of mixed and matched what I wanted. I used an $11 key switch from Advanced Auto and eliminated the kill switch and start button all together. Deleted all safety equipment and blinkers (dont need them after inspection).

You'll find all the help you need in the "some wiring diagrams" link.

Good luck
