Just another Fong Bros wannabe.... long on time, short on cash!

Hey guys........it's been a few months of grindin' but the bike is finally on the road!
Attached are some pics of the finished product. The 'floating' traveling man tweezer action seat gets a lot of looks! I also love the VW Beetle head covers which make up the electronics box.

I ended up using the custom dynamics module to make my single filament led rear mini bullet taillights function as brake/run/turn.

I've been having a few charging issues with the battery/stator/reg-rec but Hugh and the boys have been trying to help me figure it all out.

Should be 100% this weekend.

A big thanks again to this whole chopper/ bobber community and everyone on this forum....I wouldn't have been inspired and couldn't have done it without you all!!

More pics to follow when the weather here in Canada gets a little nicer!

Man, this bike and thread is awesome, nicely done!! I've been trying to decide about re-fitting the stock foot mounts, kinda came to the conclusion not to due to the amount of work to get them back in, but this changes my mind!!

So you've lowered about 3" in total? Which headlight is that?

Yeah, lowered between 2.5 - 3". The headlight is the standard black bates style, I just painted the bezel ring to match the bike.

While I liked the open wheel look and the retro bars (read: upside down stockers) I decided to add a fender and some 15" TC Bros apes. I've gotta say, my shoulders get a little sore after an hour or so, but I totally dig the look and the upright riding position. The fender has also come in very handy with spring riding/ snow melt in Western Canada.

Sick build! Nice to see another Calgarian on the forum! Where are you in town? I'm up in the NW, Tuscany. Would love to see the bike in person.
