ive been looking here for a while now so i thought i should share some of my build :thumbsup: i do have an xs 400 that im gonna be turning into a cafe but what an xs650 for the near future but for now this is what i have a kawasaki 550 was just going to do a quick bobber to ride around but got a little carried away :doh:

hope you guys like any coments wellcome i have done two other bobber but not this crazzy just trew in a couple of things and called it a day
 
Cool bike do you have good clearence for the chain on the drop. Heres is a KZ650 and Cb550 i did three years ago GSXR front and GSXR rear 200 on KZ650

wow they look real good, is that a sportster tank? on the drop i had to cut notch and move fowar the center tube for the clearance i dint check till i welded it so had to cut it off again
 
On the Kaw is a 22" long 4 gal tank and thats what the guy brought me with the stock bike so i built the bike around the tank. The CB 550 is a 2.4 gal sportster tank. Both of the back bones were replaced in both of these bikes. Seen too many hollow back bones twist when you hardtail them and hit a nice size pot hole. You build is cool going to look nice.
 
well got some parts in and got a little work done on the bike heres some picks still not sure what tank to put on it yet

kind of like that the tank hides the spring but still have to find a tank that fits the bike

I think that tank would look good if you split it down the middle (neck to seat) and trimmed some fat... Just an idea
 
well is been a while but i got the seat all done up picked up another set of rims and some handle bars for my other bike but decided to try them on this one and im kinda liking them the bike feels real comfy with them
