Hey Guys and Gals,
When I rebuilt my engine 2 years ago,I had my Cylinder jugs,Head and Rocker cover soda blasted. I never clear coated them as I don't like the look when the clear starts lifting and peeling.
Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions how to keep the raw alunimum looking clean and bright? Mine is clean but kind of tarnished looking.You can check my photo album to see what I mean.
I was thinking about a alunimun wheel cleaning type of product,marked safe for raw alunimum,as it would have to be good around rubber.
But frankly I am scared to death to use a chemical especially around the polished side covers.
What do you guys and gals suggest??
