Glad you made it through to the other side man! Looked like you were all going to get blown clear through to Kansas and back! The news footage showed some crazy work by that bitch Yasi!
Yeah, crazy fires around here, 72 homes destroyed & a heap needing more than a coat of paint to get them habitable again!
Total Fire Ban, and some dickhead ex copper with a angle grinder.....50mph winds & high temps (only around 30*c, but only 20% humidity), that fire took off before it started it was so fast! 30 odd k's South of me thank god! Another major fire 15k's to the West, luckily no homes lost in that one.
The area I live in would have been incinerated if it caught fire on that day. Massive Easterly winds all day! the firies did an amazing job getting that fire out at all!
The copper with the grinder is now missing, probably topped himself after causing all that!
