Ok, new tank that is leaking from the crossover holes underneath the tank. I used 1/4" NPT plugs wrapped with white teflon tape. Unfortunately, the teflon tape is dissolving and causing the gasoline to leak from the threads...

Any ideas on a better performing and non-leaking thread sealant?

Thanks.

You have to use the yellow "gasoline " rated tape.
That's what I used. I got it from the hardware store. Not one drip.

Did some research on the Yellow tape and most of the manufactures state that the yellow tape is intended for natural gas...not sure if there is vast chemical difference between the two.

Oh Yea of little faith!

As they say,,,"Read the label".
