Just a quick question, I guess, before I start troubleshooting carb issues. Can backfiring from one side only still be a result of timing be too far advanced?
I set it myself, and thought I had it all lined up properly. Though there were a few (3) instances when I was kick starting my bike and the carbs popped right off (It it may have been from priming too much)... though that may be an entirely seperate issue than backfiring.
I guess it could also be a result of being too lean on my airscrew mixture?
When I cleaned my carbs recently, they looked okay, a bit of black suit in the one side, Though my diaphphrams were kind of creased/crinkled, though not cracked.
