ok 1st is my friend's (the guy with the blue street tracker). he has been restoring this one for about 2yrs. now. i have some pics when he first picked it up when i find them i will post em.

this is my brownie i have just finished remounting the rear fender and made a new battery box and seat.
this one and my white one are going on gregs list today hate to sell em

Here is my barn find. I was looking for a bobber project and came accross this original xs1b. It was is a barn since '82 so it needed a little tlc (battery,gas tank cleaned, and a chain). Not bad for being parked for 27 years. I was like a kid in a candy store when I threw a cap full of gas in the spark plug hole and it started up. Since then I put almost 1000 miles on it.
OK...for some reason I can't upload the pic...Pics are in the pictures section if I don't get this figured out.

Dont hack it, I just bought a 1970 candy green and its been repainted and needs lots of work yours is in pristine shape with a little spit and polish should be fine.

I could never bring myself to chop a scoot like that. I would clean it up, make it shiny and get it running right then sell it to fund a couple of basket cases. Let someone who really appreciates a stocker enjoy a full-on restoration and keep a little history alive. Plenty of Specials left for cutting and they're better bikes for it.
