Here's my second attempt at a hardtail bobber, first at an XS. I picked this one up 3 weeks ago from a buddy who lost interest, already had the TC Bros tail installed and most of the fab work done. So far I've moved the seat mount (It was right against the tank for some reason) Fabbed mounts for the rear fender, added a fake oil tank to hide the ignition switch and the electrics, and mounted the battery box. Got it wired yesterday and fired it up for the first time. I'm hoping to be riding it by the weekend.

Here's my first one, an '81 Kaw KZ440. This was actually my first bike also. I built the hardtail and did all the fab work on this one.

My first post...

Bought the bike in boxes and just got it running with the help of my lady friend's brother the other day. Running the Pamco kit from Mike's XS - best money I've spent on this thing so far. Definitely needs a good cleaning and a sunny day (it's been raining here in New England for a solid 2 weeks).

78 standard

Just finished this one, and rode it about 1,000 miles this past week.... Rigid, Goosenecked, solid mounted seat.... Mighty comfy ride, handled the twisties on the Dragon as fast as I could, and drug both pegs... That's gettin' it!
