Okay so I am new to the site and decided I had better put this out here. I have a picture of my XS on day one, and one of today (4 months later). I am still not done and it is still not running, but I am getting ever closer. I can't wait for the day when I get this bad boy up and running like a champ. That is soon. I'm just sayin.

71' Engine in a 72' Frame. Friendly 70' DT1C next to it.

Just joined. The 71' was a donor parts motor, turned out to be a strong runner. The XS2 engine is getting a nice rebuild for a board track build. I'll try to post a bit more photos in a build thread.

Thanks Bill!! Still has all the correct wiring too. Lights, signals, TCI, reg/rec, stock size battery. I got it nice and neat between the carbs, against the down tube.
The only real thing you see is the TCI wire (mounted on the battery box) going towards the frame.
It's a daily rider, so I'm not too concerned about wires. It does open it up a bunch without an "oil can" though.

Hi

I am new and I wanted to share a couple pictures of my bikes. I have lots of work to do. The XS650B is a classic and my plans is to restore to orginal. The XS650SJ is actually my wifes bike which she is currently getting used to riding. They both run, but the SJ is the only one rode.

77' bought day after my b-day, it now has 40,800 miles on the OD
so far I've put in new oil filters, chain and sprocket, rear tire, and currently trying to get the jetting right. up 1 on the pilot and now 2 on the main, thinking I need to go up another on the pilot.
