I've been meaning to ask, why 2 petcocks on the same side? Are you hiding something in there? :bike:

It's on the street now, and will more than likely stay this way till snow hits the ground. A few things I want to change around and the main thing I have to do is figure out what I am doing with the rear brake pedal/kickstarter/footpeg/exhaust interference.

I only ever seem to go on here to try to find answers to problems that I can't figure out on my own so I figured I'd post up a few pics to show that I actually have a bike that runs (most of the time anyway).

Trainwreck that is a very well put together bike, love the stance, bars, tank, fender it all flows very well. Where did you track down that headlight I have been hunting for a yellow lens as well.

Here is my 79 Special with a 750 kit, SS Valves, Mikes Crank and 2 " pipes, Pamco Ignition MMM Carbs, did the swing arm bushings, neck bearings, upgraded forks and used a Omar's fork brace. The side car is a 61 Jawa (built in Chech Repz) with a 16" wheel and disk brake. Working on a street tracker....

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I used to run old fog and running lights that I picked up on ebay but they never lasted very long before blowing out. The bulb in the pics is just a clear halogen sealed beam that I painted with some stained glass paint from the craft store.

A friend of mine is a semi professional photographer and asked to shoot some photos of the bike. That's how I ended up with the pics. If he ever emails me the rest of them I'll post them up too.

Here are two that my husband built.

Trainwreck :

Where did you get that dual-throttle from ?
I'd love to buy one like yours............

It's an emgo copy of a 1/4 turn Amal throttle made for brit bikes. I think I got it off ebay for around twenty bucks. Like all emgo stuff it's a cheap piece of trash but with a little tinkering I was able to make it work alright.

Here is mine,
I bought it as a rolling chassis but it was more a rolling dissaster.
We changed and redid everything on the bike, only the concept and the wheels are the same.
I worked 2 1/2 years on the bike
greetings
luc
