I'm getting ready to start the fab on my frame. I'm adding some gussets, and tabs here and there, after I've removed lots of extraneous BS.
The last thing I'm trying to sort out is chopping the seat height, and reworking the rear shock mounts, and fender struts. I know there are some nice looking Brat Kits out there, but they are just not what I want. I like the added support of a nice fender strut, but I want it to look slim and sleek. Just cutting the frame loop off leaves a giant blocky chunk of metal at the shock mount...
Anyone have some good pics to share of what they have done to lower their seat height and modify their shock mounts? Has anyone made their own shock mounts?
