Hey all, new to the forums and a brand new 78' XS 650 owner. I'm starting to Cafe out this bike and am looking to get a nice beefy look to the wheels/tires. Currently, I have the stock mag wheels. I wouldn't be opposed to using those wheels with different tires for this year, but next year, I want to buy spoked wheels. With that said, does anyone have a suggestion for tires that look good with the stock wheels? And does anyone have any suggestions for spoked wheels/tire sizes that look good. I attached a pic from google that gives an idea of the look that I am going for. Thanks for your help!

Pretty sure they are Firestone vintage look tires. Look at the Firestone Deluxe Champion model. That might be what they are.

Google Image that name and xs650 and you'll get pics of them on the cast wheels. If your into the fat tire bratstyle look, They look pretty good on the cast wheels in my opinion.

If you check the gallery on bratstyle, you'll probably find several as well.

Because of the narrow rims you are stuck with skinny tires. If you go with spokes you can have a wider rim laced to your hub and go with a 120F for sure w/2.5" rim and a 140 or 150 R w/3.5" rim. Need to check swing arm width space on the rear.
