For Sale - (MA) 1972 Yamaha XS650 1500 obo

FOR SALE 1972 Yamaha xs650 sitting in a basement for 25 years! gas was drained and battery was pulled
very solid bike for its age
these years are becoming more and more hard to find.
was going to use as a bobber project but never got around to it.
first year of the front disc brake and electric start, has spoked wheels
bike is a project, horn lights work
turns over but doesnt start. good compression, shouldnt take much to get going.
will need a battery, and new petcock valves for the gas tank. front break caliper will need to be rebuilt, seat is ripped
i do not have a title for this bike. i have a registration from the last time it was on the road and a letter from the CT DMV from the previous owner i bought it from saying that it didnt need a title because of how old it was, dont know if mass is the same

I believe you need a title in Mass to get it registered. If you still have it in a few weeks I might take it for a grand....
