Mikes xs PMA rubbing

Ok I picked up the Mikes xs PMA and it installed fine but I can't adjust the stator enough to stop it from rubbing on the rotor.
Is this something anyone else has run into? Maybe a misalignment from the factory?

I know if the crank starts separating that can be a result. They are only pressed together from factory. Fine for under revvers like me. but if you like to flog the shit out of them they can start to separate, or so I have read....or just luck of the draw perhaps.

It's actually rubbing because the stator is off centre.
The crank is good. I just had the whole thing apart to reace the shift forks.
It also worked fine with the facotry parts but wouldn't charge.

Are you using a woodruff key?

Try without the woodruff key.

Might be wrong size woodruff key.

Anyone know of a puller for this kit? Banshee is too big.
There is no info that I can find on a puller for this kit.
Seems like another reason I should have got the HHB PMA

Unfortunately i can get the Mikes local for 320 plus tax
And the HHB one has to be shipped from the U.S.

The jackass that took off the old stator forgot to remove the locating pin.....
That causes it to sit high

I had a chat with him in the mirror and told him he should read all the directions first next time.....
