Mikes XS Sump Filter

I just bought the Mikes replacement sump filter and it seems like its a little bigger than the original one. I've been trying for over an hour to get it to fit up in without putting a hole in the filter. Its almost like I have to pull the kickstand off to get this one in, where as the other one went up and came out fine. Anybody have this problem? Any tips? Thanks.

Ummm, sounds like something is wrong. Mine just went right in.

um, yeah. i just put a new one of those in too and it was no problem. it does sound like something is awry.

Just got it in. Kickstand was a little bent and in the way. Took a little persuasion but I got it

Fired right up and my clutch problem is solved... All it needed was the correction of the alignment, and I'm sure the new oil didn't hurt either. Thanks guys.
