MikeXS PMA/Pamco package 1980-84 XS650 *no cam nut?

I was wondering why this kit does not come with cam nut. Is there any particular reason why it doesn't?

Looking to upgrade my ignition and charging unit on my 1980 XS.

Do you mean the nuts on the ends of the advance rod? If so, then those nuts do come with the kit as part of the advance rod.

OK. I see that now. Perhaps they meant the nut that secures the PMA rotor to the crank shaft.

I'll bet he's talking about the Slotted ring nut that holds the centrifugal advance. The one they sent me is useless. Looks like they used a worn out tap or didn't go in far enough. It only goes on the can 1/2 turn.
