mounting mids

my frame is a 71 and it has a tc hardtail problem is that there is no mounting holes or anything to bolt too. I can turn like a longer bung and drill the frame out but i dont like the sound of that what to do?

Split a piece of square tubing, drill the appropriate size hole, and weld nuts to the inside. Then weld the tubing to the frame and attach the peg brackets.

nope non never did i think they must have been farther back like i say my frame is a 71
