My 81' "Bratt" build

Have had very little time to work on this lately but got something done. I was able to get the mounts for the integrated CBR 600 taillight done. It is mounted in a Fat Bob fender.

Went with the CBR taillight because it was similar in shape to the rear of the Fat Bob fender.
Still have lots of grinding and prep work to do before I can start painting.

That rear light is effin' cool! Nice job with that. I'm using two 25-LED stips for my brake/tail. Might have it on by the end of the weekend.

Thanks. In hindsight I probably should have went that rout. Made a plate that bolted up into the fender and put on some LED strips, would have been a lot easier. :banghead: I will have to check your setup out.

They're bright as F*CK too! I go them from Radiantz.com with a dual element circuit which reduces the brightness for tail and full power for stop. $58 shipped so not bad. They're just under 4 inches in length. Very narrow too.

Looks your bike is goin to turn plenty of heads

I really like it so far Ill be keepin an eye on this thread.
By the way what carb r u goin 2 use on her ?
post a link to the kit please.
:umm: and some bad azz pipes there  and good choice on the tail light

Thank you! As far as the carb: Not using a kit, I built the intake. I am going to use the left BS38 off of a 76' for now. Not sure how it will work but we will see.
Later when I build the dream motor I might do something different. Who knows?

Haven't had much time but I have dug into the carbs and found lots of fun. One of the PO's tried to take out he Pilot jets and twisted the tops right of them. :banghead: What fun! Anyone have luck getting these out without left had bits?

Well got a little done with the bike. Got the engine de-greased.

I also painted the frame and swing arm. Now that it is painted all the imperfections showed up. So, I will be doing more work on it and painting it again. :banghead:
