Hey can you tell us a little bit more about that Tumbler you used on your carbs?
That thing did a bad ass job. For the price it does as good of a job as a sand blaster it looks like.

Its a case tumbler for reloading. The bowl on it wasn't big enough to fit the carbs inside so I attached a mixing bowl to it. I used corn cob media with a little liquid polish added. There are other types of media out there that might work better. The tumblers can also be bought at harbor freight. The carbs looked great when I pulled them out of the tumbler, but they dulled very quickly. I have polished a lot of aluminum and I have never seen something lose its shine so quickly. Maybe it's the aluminum the carbs are made from. Be prepared to spend some time getting the corn cob media out of the passages on the carbs if you decide to go this route. The caps and velocity stacks were polished on a normal buffing wheel.
