National Motorcycle Museum Anamosa,Iowa Vintage Rally. Anyone been?

My wife saw an article about the National Museum's Vintage Rally in Anamosa, Iowa.
She wants to go since, we have to go to Iowa in June anyway.

Has anybody been/heard things about it ?

Good/Bad?

Worth the extra time/money?

Any pics?........Thank-you....Alan

Yeah the museum is well worth the trip. They've built a new building, it wasn't done the last time I went there but a friend said it is very nice.

Very good stop - I go to all the motorcycle museums I can.

Ive been to the AMA Museum in Pickerington Ohio...

Ive been to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa Iowa...

Ive been to the Harley Museum in Milwaukee Wisconsin...

In my opinion......the Anamosa Museum is the best of the lot.

Its a big place.....this is just a tip of the iceberg.

Covers all makes.....different sports......pretty good collection.

Its funded my J&P Cycles. There retail store is just down the road - HUGE place so check them out if your going to be there.

We would do it. . . . . again.
I spent as much time reading the documentation and literature on the various bikes and riding organizations as I did looking at the bikes themselves. You need at least 3-4 hours for the stop at the museum. Both days if you are going to the rally.
