Need tank Emblem size? 1981

I have found a few replacement emblems for an 81 Special, some have tape back and are smaller, others have a screw hole in the A letter and between the H and A letters.I'd like to get the stock measurements in MM or CM for a correct fit. Mine are missing. One other question, Some of the emblems have silver letters others gold. Any reason for this? different models?? I have looked but to no avail.

Correct for 1981.

Gold letters.Has offset mounting holes. (4" hole to hole).

A while back I saw someone had made emblems in the British Triumph style, With the swoop in front, Those are the coolest thing of any custom bling I have ever seen. Does anybody know if they are still being made? I believe they were cast resin one offs and sold semi finished and not painted. I'd love to buy a pair if I could find the guy.
